Snow Day

Hi Everyone, We hope you enjoyed your long weekend (if you had one). We sure did!

Because we had some awesome rain over the weekend, we knew that Julian, which is San Diego's version of Apple Hill, would have some snow. It was relatively warm today but there was still some snow on the ground and the boys had a blast. Everett even had 2 seconds of fame on Fox 5 news today. They showed a clip of him sticking a stick into the camera on the 6pm local news station. Very exciting.

Nathan loved the fact that he felt completely water-proofed in his snow clothes that he would belly slide everywhere we went.

And although Isaac never made it out in the actual snow, he was still a very happy boy.

2011 New Resolution

My last post was in December of 2009 so this is the year that I will be a better blogger.

A lot has happened in 2010! We had baby Shaieb #3, Isaac Matthew. But if you are a reader of this blog you know that already. He is so perfect and adorable. He is 5 months old now and is rolling all over the place, can almost sit up unassisted and loves blowing raspberries.

I love this age and it's so sad that it goes so fast. Soon he'll be running around with his big bro's.


Nathan is the same with Isaac as he was with Everett - not very interested, however, Everett has my maternal bug and wants to take care of him all the time. Everett is more of a handful than Nathan is while he is going through his "SUPER FUN" two stage.


One of my current passions as of late is playing around with Photoshop Elements and creating cute birth announcements for friends or custom fun Valentine's for Nathan at school.


Note: all the images are from Isaac's newborn pictures and birth info is not necessarily Isaac's but maybe from friends baby's.

These were the Valentine cards I made for Nathan and we wrapped them around Rice Krispy Treats. Everyone loved them and Nathan loved helping me.

Last Post of 2009!

Wow! It's been almost two months since I've posted anything. Since our last post we have celebrated a 3rd birthday for Nathan, a stress free Thanksgiving, visited friends in Northern California and enjoyed this month to the fullest. Below (in reverse order... because I'm retarded) are some pictures from the last two months. See you all next year!

We had a great week and weekend and it's not even over yet. We visited another awesome pumpkin patch/ farm, decorated pumpkins, and ate smores at the beach. Life is pretty pretty good.

I was super surprised that Nathan said he wanted to ride the pony.

Fall in Michigan

We had a great extended weekend visiting family in Michigan. Nathan and Everett had a great time being loved by all of their Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and of course G-ma. We visited an apple orchard, played in Autumn's leaves and celebrated birthdays.
